Hey everyone!

We’re Eterna Arena, and we’re incredibly proud to share that our little game Glowy — born during a 48-hour GameGround Jam 2025 sprint — not only came to life… but won first place!

This post marks the beginning of Glowy’s journey — from a jam prototype to what will become a full Steam release in the future.

What Is Glowy?

Glowy is a dark puzzle game about light.
You guide a small dark creature through eerie, mysterious levels — where light reveals, darkness hides, and clever thinking is your greatest tool. As you move through shadowy rooms, you’ll uncover hidden paths, activate mechanisms, and discover that light is both your ally and your challenge.

Built in 48 Hours

The original version of Glowy was created during a 48-hour game jam.
We started with nothing but the idea of using light as the main mechanic — and over two sleepless nights, we built the entire foundation: movement, puzzle logic, level transitions, and visual atmosphere.

After the jam ended, we decided to refine the game.
We improved lighting effects, added subtle animations, balanced puzzles, and fixed bugs — making this build feel more like a complete demo rather than a rough jam prototype

Game Jam Victory

Out of all the amazing entries at GameGround Jam 2025, Glowy took 1st place — a huge milestone for our small team. We’re deeply thankful to everyone who played, voted, and supported us during the jam. We’ve added the winner icon on the page as a badge of honor — it reminds us that this world of shadow and light started as a spark of creativity and collaboration.

What’s Next — The Future of Glowy

This current version of Glowy is just the demo — the start of something bigger.
We’re now working toward developing the full version, with:

• New mechanics expanding the concept of light and shadow.

• More levels that evolve the puzzles and introduce fresh twists.

• Atmospheric soundtrack & story elements to deepen immersion.

• A full release on Steam, once Glowy reaches the level of polish and scope we’re aiming for.

Our goal is to keep what made the jam version special — the clean mechanics and mood — and expand it into a complete, unforgettable puzzle experience.
